Welcome to Hexforge Industries
Today marks an important step forward for Hexforge Industries: the official opening of our website.
Hexforge began with a straightforward idea—to build a capable, practical business that brings together technical problem-solving, creative design, manufacturing, gaming, and custom project work under one name.
The website is still at the beginning of its development, just as Hexforge itself is still growing. However, it now provides a central place where customers, collaborators, hobbyists, and local businesses can learn more about what we do, view completed projects, and contact us about new ideas.
What Hexforge Offers Today
Hexforge Industries currently provides a growing range of design, fabrication, hobby, and technical services.
Our current capabilities include:
- FDM and resin 3D printing
- Custom models, components, and replacement parts
- Tabletop terrain and scenic gaming pieces
- Commission miniature painting
- Diorama and display components
- Digital design and project planning
- Flat-pack assembly and furniture alterations
- Small custom fabrication and repair work
- Prototyping and one-off creative projects
We are particularly interested in unusual jobs that may not fit neatly into a standard product catalogue.
Some customers know exactly what they need. Others may only have a rough idea, a sketch, a reference image, or a problem that needs solving. Hexforge can help develop that idea into a realistic design, quotation, and finished result.
Built to Grow
Hexforge Industries has been designed as more than a single-service business.
The long-term goal is to develop a group of specialised Hexforge divisions covering areas such as engineering, manufacturing, technology, gaming, media, custom fabrication, and research and development.
These divisions will allow Hexforge to take on increasingly complex work while keeping each service area focused and organised.
This will not happen overnight.
The immediate priority is to build a reliable foundation by completing quality work, improving our processes, investing in equipment, and developing relationships with customers and local businesses. Each completed project helps Hexforge expand its capabilities and move closer to larger-scale manufacturing and engineering work.
Future Workshop Plans
One of the major future goals for Hexforge is the establishment of a dedicated workshop.
A proper workshop will allow us to move beyond smaller alterations, printed components, design work, and portable projects. It will provide the space required for full custom furniture builds, larger terrain projects, advanced fabrication, woodworking, metalworking, electronics, prototyping, and small-scale production.
Until that workshop is established, we will continue to focus on the work that can be completed safely and professionally with our current equipment and available space.
We would rather be honest about our present capacity than accept work we cannot complete to the required standard.
Expanding Our 3D Printing Services
3D printing will remain an important part of Hexforge Industries.
Our future plans include expanding both FDM and resin production capacity, improving material options, increasing maximum project sizes, and developing a wider catalogue of original products.
This may include:
- Tabletop terrain systems
- Gaming accessories and storage
- Display plinths and diorama components
- Workshop organisers
- Functional replacement parts
- Prototype enclosures
- Custom brackets, mounts, and fittings
- Small-batch products
- Original Hexforge designs
Custom printing will continue to be available for customers who already have a model file, as well as customers who need assistance developing a printable design.
Supporting the Gaming and Hobby Community
Gaming, miniature painting, terrain building, and modelmaking are a major part of the Hexforge identity.
Future gaming projects may include modular battlefields, custom scenic boards, terrain collections, display pieces, painting services, storage systems, gaming aids, and original tabletop products.
We also intend to work with local gaming groups, hobby businesses, event organisers, and individual creators wherever suitable opportunities arise.
The goal is not simply to sell generic printed objects. It is to produce useful, distinctive pieces that contribute to the overall gaming or display experience.
Technology and Digital Development
Hexforge is also developing its own internal software, website systems, pricing tools, project-management processes, and digital services.
Over time, these systems may support customer project tracking, online quotations, custom-order management, invoicing, product configuration, digital design services, and other tools created specifically around the way Hexforge operates.
Technology will not replace direct communication with customers. It will be used to make communication clearer, pricing more consistent, and projects easier to manage from the first enquiry through to completion.
What to Expect From This Blog
This blog will document the development of Hexforge Industries.
Future posts will include:
- New services and equipment
- Project showcases
- Behind-the-scenes development
- 3D printing advice
- Tabletop gaming and terrain projects
- Miniature painting work
- Workshop planning and construction
- Product announcements
- Design and fabrication insights
- Business milestones
- Lessons learned while building Hexforge
Not every post will be a polished success story. Building a business involves testing ideas, refining systems, solving problems, and occasionally changing direction. This blog will provide an honest record of that process.
The Forge Is Open
The launch of this website does not represent the completion of Hexforge Industries.
It represents the beginning.
There is a great deal still to build, but the foundation is now in place. We are ready to take enquiries, discuss projects, produce custom work, and continue expanding what Hexforge can offer.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the business so far.
To discuss a project, request an initial quote, or learn more about our current services, visit the contact section of the website and tell us what you are looking to create.
Welcome to Hexforge Industries.
